You've got some good evolution going here. hmmm.... i agree about anatomy. Muscle-shadowing is as -- if not more---important than the lines put into art. you have a good stroke with the newer style, and i think that, if you keep practicing, you could really go places with it.

As a general comment, I think your choice of style, this square blurry stroke, has a lot ofpotential. The problem is you need to be more "fluent" in anatomy and study your compositions more carefully. Facial features like in your user ID work well with your style; facial features like those on your latest deviations don't, because you're trying to make the face more detailed than your impressionistic style allows.
I also think a light background like the white in your ID works best for you because it shows off the details of the edges of your brush strokes (especially that theyr'e transparent and layered), while dark backgrounds eat that up and devalue your style.
You do need a lot of work though. Anatomy, volumes, composition, shading. Once you have all these in your pocket, your style will be conveyed better.
